Marketing professional sought to help take permaculture to new audiences

We are an internationally-recognised permaculture organisation with a network of educator members. Permaculture inspired thinking and action can help us to respond well to the huge challenges facing humanity. Web volunteers needed

We have a small team of volunteers in Wales who help to manage the Paramaethu website: www.wales.permaculture.org.uk

If you be able to spare an hour or two every month to help with this task we would be grateful for any assistance uploading news, pictures, projects and events.

Ability with written Welsh would be a distinct advantage.

Some experience of web layout would be useful – the site uses a content management system so is fairly straightforward.

We’re looking for talented illustrators and writers for inclusion in our long-format membership journal, Permaculture Works, coming out this summer. This is our new flagship Permaculture Association member’s print publication and features interviews, in-depth design features, technical and practical articles and personal reflective pieces on our lives in permaculture.

Down to earth examples that others can replicate

A question for Diploma students/teachers: Do you have any examples of how you have applied permaculture/the principles to elements of your own life? We have one or two examples coming up in future issues of Permaculture Magazine and would like to be able to tell more stories in the aim of showing what permaculture does and inspiring more people to dip their toes in and take a closer look, sign-up for courses? It could literally be anything, big or small.

Website testers wanted

This is a call out for support testing our website. No experience required!

We want to improve our accessibility, usability and navigability and would really appreciate building up a team of volunteers who can give us some feedback.

Testing can be performed at any adhoc times and we can send instructions and explanation. We do not anticipate it to take longer than half an hour in the first instance.

If you are able to help, please get in touch with Nicola Bell below
